Great post. Liked the Duke Nukem vs Half Life example. Game development is under studied but has great lessons.

Congratulations for your new book Maarten :) When one is working in a 'delivery factory', one does not own the ideas. Unfortunately, they belong to the business stakeholders that thought about them. Cleaning up the Product Backlog and getting rid of old ideas becomes more complicated and involves some stakeholder management and portfolio management. Any suggestions in a scenario like this?
